I have always found myself drawn to helping children and I have two young children of my own. Growing up can bring all sorts of challenges physically and emotionally for children to deal with and for the parents too. I have experienced many challenges and can empathise with the different phases of childhood and parenthood that we have to deal with.

My purpose is to enable children of all ages to connect with their inner love and wisdom to help them realise their full potential. I create a loving and nurturing space where the child can feel safe. There are two therapies that I offer:

Healing to Balance the Seven Major Chakras and Aura

Healing is beneficial for a child whatever age as it brings balance and harmony and helps to release stress and tension that may have developed through starting school and adjusting to a new routine and being away from you and home. I have noticed that sensitive children are becoming more prone to bullying and self-confidence issues at school. Healing can really benefit them to release anxiety and fear and to build their inner strength and self-esteem.

Teenagers too can find it difficult as they struggle to grow and gain their independence and often with changes in their hormones it can throw them off balance which can affect their mood and self-esteem.

The healing is adapted according to the age of the child and how long they are willing to lie or sit still. The healing with involve hands on healing on the seven major chakras on the body and involves discussion with the parent/guardian and child to listen and understand the current issues.  This in itself is healing as the child is heard and listened to.  

The overall Aura (energy that surrounds the child) is also brought in to balance. Blockages often start in the aura before they manifest physically in the body so clearing and balancing the aura is equally important. Please click here for Testimonials.

HOPI EAR CANDLE TREATMENT

Hopi Ear Candles were first introduced and used by the Hopi Pueblo Tribe in South West USA. The Hopis, who are the oldest Pueblo people, had great medicinal knowledge of herbs and of the oils from plants and were a very spiritual tribe of Indians. They brought the Hopi Candle to Europe working together with a company called Biosun from Germany.

BIOSUN have been producing candles since 1985.  I use Original BIOSUN Hopi Ear Candles in my treatments. They are about 22cm long and have a burning time of about 10-12 minutes. The Ear candles are cylindrical and are made of pesticide free cotton and are impregnanted with pure beeswax, honey extract and traditional herbs such as Sage, St John's wort, and Chamomile.

The Ear candles are used by setting them alight. A light suction action (chimney effect) and the movement of the flame create a vibration of air in the Ear candle, generating a massage-like effect on the eardrum. The vapours return back from the ear up the very centre of the candle.

Hopi Ear Candle Treatment is a purely natural and safe means to balance ear pressure and to soothe and relieve earache, headaches and sinus problems thus aiding general immunity and well being.



It can clear the mind aiding concentration and help with disturbed sleep. It has a calming and relaxing effect on the whole child or person.
It is suitable for children 3 years or older although it will depend on the child's ability to lay still for about 10-12 minutes on each side. It is not suitable for those children who have grommets.

My son was able to lay still for 20 minutes or more when he was 3 and a half years old and he is usually very active. I play soft calming music or the child may wish his mum or dad to read a story to them while it is being done.

A medical questionnaire is required to be completed before the treatment begins so that I am aware of the child's medical history.
