31st October
Samhain is The Festival of the Year’s End and New Beginnings as it marks the ending and beginning of the new Celtic year. The days are now becoming shorter as the light recedes and we begin journeying in to winter, a time of rest and renewal.
Samhain is celebrated on and around the 31st October and is a magical time when the veils between the two worlds of matter and Spirit are at their most thinnest, especially at dawn and dusk. As the sun begins to set, this is a good time to meditate in soft candlelight to welcome the
inner stillness that this time brings and to nurture the Light within that will sustain us through the dark winter months.
This is an ideal opportunity to connect with our ancestors, those that have passed over and those nature spirits and guides that have helped us on our paths and give our thanks for their wisdom, guidance and healing.
It is at this time that we are invited to let go of the year that has passed, releasing those things that may limit us going forward and keeping only that which serves us for our highest good.
All the planetary energies are shifting and changing at this time to make way for the fresh energies of the New Year so a perfect time to connect with the inner stillness within and to connect with Mother Nature.
“A deeply healing ceremony on both a personal and ancestral level. Deep gratitude.”
